House Rules

Thank you for choosing me as your coach…

I’m so excited to have this opportunity to support you in your creative work and life and I’m already looking forward to our first coaching session soon.

I’m committed to making our work together as valuable, supportive, and enjoyable for you as possible – I’m lucky enough to now call many of my past clients friends, and I truly feel privileged to be able to do the work that I do each week as a coach. I’m here to meet you exactly where you’re at right now in your creative journey, and to support you to move forward and make things happen in whatever way that works best for you.

To make sure our coaching sessions and time working together runs as smoothly as possible, here are some things for you to keep in mind:

Please schedule all of your calls as soon as possible

I’m usually always fully booked, so once you’ve booked your coaching spot I recommend booking all of your future sessions as soon as possible.

If you need to reschedule a session?

That’s absolutely fine – I know life happens from time to time and I endeavour to make rescheduling sessions as easy and fuss-free as possible for you. All I ask is for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule one of our sessions.

However, I do understand that emergencies can happen from time to time, and if you need to reschedule a session the day of, all I need is just an email letting me know beforehand and I can reschedule it for you.

If you miss a session without notice or communication, the session will be cancelled. If after 15 minutes you haven’t arrived for our session and if I haven’t heard from you via email, that’s when I will cancel the session and charge you for the booked time.

When I say email me anytime, I really do mean it…

I’m here to support you anytime between our calls via email – so never be afraid to hit send if something’s on your mind and you’d like some support, guidance, or encouragement. You can expect a reply within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday, unless I’m on vacation which I will let you know about beforehand.

If you ever need to take a break from coaching for personal reasons?

This happens from time to time, and I try and be as flexible as possible. Maybe you have a personal health crisis or a family situation arise that needs your attention for a while – I totally get it. If you ever need to take a break and postpone our sessions, let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to facilitate that for you.

Just one thing to keep in mind: my policy is that all unused coaching sessions will expire after 12 months from when our coaching program began.

How to be prepared for our coaching sessions…

If there’s anything specific you’d like me to prepare for or look over, I will need at least 48 hours notice via email so I can dedicate time to it.

For you to get the best out of our sessions together, I do ask that you be fully present and not be engaging in other activities such as driving or answering emails. This is to ensure that you are able fully to concentrate on our session and maximise the benefits of it.

Before each call, I encourage you to take some time to outline how you’d like to use our time together and the areas you would like support with that session. I find coaching sessions are most valuable for my clients when they come prepared and aware of how they want to use that time together.

Everything is confidential…

Everything you share during our time together is confidential – including the recordings of our sessions and any notes I may take during our sessions. The intellectual property rights for all materials during our time working together belong to me, and you can only use those materials or products for your own personal use and you may not share them with, or sell them to, third parties.

More than anything, I really am so excited to start our work together soon…

It’s an absolute honour to have this opportunity to support you in your creative work and life, and I really can’t wait to get to know you and your work better soon.
